Vanamo baby shawls are organic and ethically made in Finland from pure natural materials. Due to their special weaving technique, Vanamo wraps are soft, malleable and strong. You can comfortably carry the baby from birth to toddlerhood. Woven shawl breathes and is cool.
Read the user manual carefully before you start using the carrier. You can also watch some video tutorials on Youtube.
Vanamo linen blend is a great cool ring sling for hot summer days! Linen also adds extra strength to the wrap making it supportive and comfortable even for heavier babies. The Vanamo fabric is diagonally elastic and malleable. The special weaving provides optimal support for both the child and the parent. The Vanamo Linen wrap is medium thick and supportive enough for toddlers! Linen baby wraps can be a little stiffer at first and for newborns we recommend all Vanamo wraps in cotton, wool or silk.
The Vanamo fabric is a complex blend of twill and tabby weave that creates the unique structured, porous and comfortable baby wrap. The rich crystal pattern is inspired by the old handwoven Finnish linen textiles. After the first wash, the fabric will fluff up and the unique structure will emerge.
Here's how to care for your Vanamo wrap:
Machine wash in cold water (30 degrees) with wool program or delicacy program, hang dry, iron on low heat. NO tumble drying! Tie a sock or piece of cloth around the rings to protect the paint.
We recommend that you wash the baby sling before you start using it. The wrap becomes softer and easier to wrap after washing and ironing, and the fabric gets its optimal structure and density. Each baby shawl has a little extra length to shrink.
