Merino wool is a good material in baby wraps. Wool is breathable and heat regulating. Wool keeps the skin dry and warm while absorbing the moisture from the skin. The wrap works great in hot and humid climates. And it feels just as comforting on chilly autumn and winter days.

Kid fabric is diagonally elastic, which means that the sling provides optimal support for the child and feels comfortable for both the wearer and the baby. This medium weight wrap is perfect for babies of all ages as well as toddlers. The Vanamo wrap will soften up fairly quickly through use and wear.
The Vanamo Kide fabric is a complex blend of twill and tabby weave that creates the unique structured, porous and comfortable baby wrap. The rich crystal pattern is inspired by the old handwoven Finnish linen textiles. After the first wash, the fabric will fluff up and the unique structure will emerge.
How to care for your Vanamo wrap :
Machine wash in cold water (30 degrees) with wool program or delicate program, hang dry, iron on low heat. NO tumble drying! Tie a sock or piece of fabric around the rings to protect the paint.
We recommend that you wash the baby wrap before you start using it. The wrap becomes softer and easier to tie after washing and ironing, and the fabric gets its optimal structure and density. Each baby wrap has a little extra length to shrink.
